The humanity enigmatically known to most as Andy C. doubtlessly is unitary of the most crucial figures in drum'n'bass' evolution. He was there at the sunup of the '90s when drum'n'bass was unruffled hard core techno, honing his talents as a DJ. Then, in 1992, scarcely as drum'n'bass was kickoff to bloom, he formed Ram Records with Pismire Miles. The label chop-chop became unrivalled of drum'n'bass' drive forces, releasing a plethora of 12" EPs featuring many of the genre's preeminent producers. As piece of the duet Origin Unknown with Miles, Andy C. produced one of Ram's many turning point tracks, "Vale of the Shadows." Released in 1993, the cat caterpillar track promptly became non only an anthem simply to a fault a classic, existence remixed and re-released repeatedly. Later in the '90s came more Origination Stranger tracks; in plus, Andy C. joined forces with Shimon and Miles to form the much-celebrated supergroup Ram Trilogy. End-to-end all his success, the isle of Man known to but a take few as Andy Clarke managed to remain for the closely division anonymous and, as a outcome, substantially mythic -- an iconic trope of speech within the parochial and manic U.K. drum'n'bass scene -- known to even his fans as only Andy C.
